About Us

Our founder, Claudette R. Dodd, grew up on a small farm in central Alberta. There, she was able to witness, first hand, gardening, quilting, needlecrafts, sewing, soapmaking and a number of other talents that were displayed by her mother and neighbourhood friends. Seeing creations that were not only beautiful, but also had an element of utility she developed a desire to continue the tradition.

It was not until the summer of 1999 when I made the first bar of cold process soap. I continued to experiment with various recipes, additives and molds and finally came up with a selection of recipes using all natural ingredients that I could call my own. Always having positive feedback from friends and family who received my creations and following my passion, I went on to make body products like bath teas, bath salts, body scrubs and recently comfort pillows. Over the past years my recipes have been further perfected and a full line of products developed. I continue to indulge in my passion by exploring new ingredients and creating new recipes.
